I am pretty well known for over-complicating things. My boss has told me that I remind him of his nephew who is of the type of personality that if you were to ask him the time, he'd tell you how to build a clock. Teach a man to fish, I say! I need to simplify and figure out what the heck I'm gonna do for my first round. I guess I need to stop thinking and DO! Don't make keyword research overly complicated. Remember you can make as many websites as you want on your hosting account, you just have to pay for the domain names once a year. So if you start a site, practice for a while, and then realize there is something even better to go after, there's nothing stopping you. If you go after the idea we talked about, you don't even have to write a lot when you don't have time. You can just find a bunch of good YouTube videos and post them for a month in advance, setting your blog to post one video every three days. Then if you get wrapped up offline, at least you don't have to worry about your blog going completely stale (I don't mean this one, I mean your niche blog). If you start with a more specialized blog and get it ranking well for a specialist term, you can expand it later into some of the really high-traffic keywords.
